Extended Warranties: Terms & Conditions

The Petspemf Extended Warranty program offers an additional two (2) years of technical coverage beyond the standard two (2) year manufacturer's warranty.
By purchasing an ExtendCare+ plan, your total warranty period is extended to four (4) years from the original date of purchase.

1. Eligibility and Purchase

  • Simultaneous Purchase: The Petspemf Extended Warranty must be purchased at the same time as the eligible Petspemf device. It cannot be added to an order retrospectively.

  • Tiered Coverage: Eligibility is determined by the original purchase price of the hardware device:

- ExtendCare+ 2Y ($40): Applicable to any Petspemf device with an original retail price up to $500 USD (e.g., Petspemf Pad, PetLoop PRO).

- ExtendCare+ 2Y Pro ($80): Applicable to any Petspemf  device with an original retail price over $500 USD (e.g., Petspemf RollnRest).

  • Non-Transferable: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the specific device unit it was purchased with.

2. Multi-Product Orders

  • Default Assignment: If an order contains multiple Petspemf devices but only one (1) extended warranty is purchased, the warranty will automatically apply to the highest-priced eligible device in that order.

  • Specific Assignment: To apply the warranty to a specific device in a multi-product order that is not the highest-priced, you must specify the device name in the Order Notes at checkout.

  • Coverage Limit: Each extended warranty purchase covers exactly one (1) device unit.

3. Coverage Details

3.1 What is Covered

  • Hardware Defects: Coverage for manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship, and internal hardware malfunctions occurring under normal use.

  • Repair or Replacement: Faulty devices will be repaired using genuine parts or replaced with a new or certified refurbished device of equal functionality, at the discretion of Petspemf.

  • Free Service Shipping: Includes one (1) free return shipping label per year of the extended warranty period for covered hardware repairs or inspections.

  • Initial Replacement Guarantee: If the hardware experiences a covered failure within the first six (6) months of the extended coverage period, the unit will be replaced immediately.

  • Priority Support: Access to specialized technical support and online video troubleshooting.

3.2 What is Not Covered

  • Batteries: Battery degradation or failure due to natural wear over time is excluded from extended warranty coverage.

  • Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from drops, impact, water exposure, fire, or any form of misuse or neglect.

  • Unauthorized Service: Damage caused by repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than Petspemf authorized personnel.

  • Non-Original Accessories: Issues resulting from the use of non-original chargers, cables, or accessories not supplied by Petspemf.

  • Tampering: Any device that has been opened, disassembled, or tampered with by the user or an unauthorized third party.

  • Cosmetic Wear: Aesthetic changes such as scratches or dents that do not affect the technical functionality of the device.

4. Claims Process

  1. Contact Support: Reach out to the Petspemf technical support team with your original order number.

  2. Proof of Purchase: Provide your order confirmation showing the simultaneous purchase of the device and the corresponding ExtendCare+ plan.

  3. Technical Assessment: Our team will perform a remote assessment. If a device defect is confirmed, we will provide a return shipping label (limited to 1x per year).

  4. Resolution: Once the device is received and inspected, we will proceed with the appropriate repair or replacement.

5. General Terms

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Petspemf is headquartered.

Refund Policy:

  • Within the 30-Day Return Window: If you return your Petspemf device for a refund within our standard 30-day return window, the ExtendCare+ plan will be fully refunded along with the device.

  • After the 30-Day Return Window: Once the standard 30-day return window has closed, the extended warranty is considered active and is non-refundable, even if the device is later returned under a separate warranty claim or exception.

  • Amendments: Petspemf reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The terms active at the time of your purchase will govern your specific warranty coverage.
