My dog Ella went to PT in Michigan when I lived there every other week and went through a series of PT exercises, including using the PEMP. So I purchased one when I moved away and she liked it for the first two weeks. I would use it on her every day for 30 minutes, after she went through her PT exercise routine. Two weeks ago I could not get her to use it, and when I encourage her, she will walk out of the room.
I’m not sure what changed with her, but she avoids it. Therefore, I’m a bit disappointed with the PEMP and the money I spent.
Shipped a faulty product. Customer service is slow and uncooperative to resolve. Still waiting on eta of reshipped equipment.
This is an amazing product. I bought the first pad for my Aussie, Clifford, who had just been diagnosed with hip dysplasia. The change in his comfort and ability to move pain free is impressive. I then bought a second pad to help my other 2 dogs. 1 suffers from storm anxiety and the other is reactive to the world. Again the results are impressive. I am a believer in PEMF technology and this is a quality product. I am also impressed with this company because I had a problem with one of my pads. Their technical service people were extremely helpful and we got the problem solved very quickly! Great company, great product!
The mat is great for my dog. However, the way you have to use it is very frustrating. The app doesn’t always connect or stay connected. I want a time clock to watch but it always disconnects and I have to start over. I hate having to check the green dot and always have to refer to notes to recall what they mean. Just give me a definitive on and off. And a countdown that doesn’t disconnect. Aside from all the fussing you have to go through to use it I think the product itself is really good. Great quality, light but not flimsy. Easy to lay on top of dog. Good coverage. Comfortable for them to lie on.
We have been using the pad for several months now. It helps my labrador retriever, who has hip dysplasia and a torn CCL. However, the pad is way too small for a large dog. Only half of her body fits on it. I would like to see a larger option for big dogs.
